Hypedrive Brought Out the Speed and Energy of NYC With Cars & Kicks 2.0

Hypebeast, the leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, ignited the energy of New York City with the second installment of Hypedrive’s Cars & Kicks on September 6, 2025. The night, held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s massive Agger Fish Warehouse, celebrated the pre-launch of the Victor Victor x Nike Air Max DN8 “NYC”.

Hypedrive’s Cars & Kicks brought together the best of the automotive and sneaker communities, serving as an exclusive pre-launch party for host Steven Victor and his new collaboration. Produced in partnership with the teams behind Wheels of NYC and Victor Victor, the warehouse was transformed into a vibrant hub of culture. The expansive space was filled with some of the tri-state area’s rarest and most coveted cars, capturing the attention of every guest. The extensive lineup includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, RUF Porsches, Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, rally cars, and more.

Beyond being the first to get their hands on the new sneakers, attendees enjoyed an electric atmosphere with music from DJ Pi’erre Bourne and custom tequila cocktails from Hiatus. USM provided a dedicated lounge area for guests to relax and take in the scene, while stunning visuals and optics from Leica captured the night’s energy. The incredible collection of vehicles was curated by respected names in the automotive world, including 1600 Veloce, Ryan Friedman Motorcars, private collectors, and Steven Victor himself, all of whom helped create a dynamic backdrop for the event.
